Vuoden spektaakkelimaisin vapputapahtuma lähestyy kiihtyvällä vauhdilla! Viikin WappuApprot järjestetään jo viidettä kertaa, tänä vuonna tiistaina 21.4.2026.
WappuApprot on Metsäylioppilaiden järjestämä tapahtuma, joka kokoaa Viikin yhteen Latis-Silvica-Kampus alueelle kiertämään ainejärjestöjen ja muiden pitämiä rasteja, sekä nauttimaan keväästä. Kaikilta rasteilta kerätään leimoja appropassiin, ja lopuksi leimojen perusteella saa suoritustasomerkin. On myös mahdollista suorittaa täysi passi ja kahdesta ylimmästä tasosta jatkotutkinto. Muista ommella aikaisempien vuosien appromerkkisi kiinni haalareihin viimeistään nyt!
Liput vapun himotuimpaan Viikki-tapahtumaan tulevat myyntiin perjantaina 10.4.2026 kello 12:00 Kide-appissa, liput menevät äkkiä! Metsäylioppilaille on oma kiintiö, johon kuuluvien lippujen ostaminen vaatii MYO:n jäsenyyden Kidessä. Aloitusajat on jaettu muutamaan eri lähtöön, ja approilu aloitetaan hakemalla passi Silvican pihalta (Talonpojantie 25) oman lipun osoittamaan lähtöaikaan, tai viimeistään klo 18:30.
Aikaa rastien kiertelyyn on lähdöstä riippuen noin neljästä viiteen tuntia. Suoritustasomerkin voit lunastaa passista löytyviä leimoja vastaan viralliselta jatkopaikalta, C-Grundilta 21:30–23:00 (Talonpojantie 13). Ovet jatkoille aukeavat klo 22:00 ja Grundilla pääset tanssimaan vappuisissa merkeissä Versosurman tahdittamana! 🎉 Approlippu maksaa 10 euroa ja sisältää appropassin, haalarimerkit (suoritustaso- ja tapahtumamerkki) sekä sisäänpääsyn jatkoille. Polkaistaan wappu yhdessä kunnolla käyntiin ja pidetään huoli kavereista! 💚

Viikki's most anticipated Wappu (May Day) event, WAPPUAPPRO, is coming back for the fifth time! This year the beloved adventure will be held on Tuesday April 21st!
Wappuappro, organized by the Forestry Students Association, is a kind of "pub" crawl where participants stroll across the Viikki campus and the Latis-Silvica area, visiting checkpoints organized by student organizations (yay!) while enjoying the Finnish spring. You collect stamps at each checkpoint in your appro-pass, and at the end, based on the stamps, you can earn a performance level badge. It is also possible to complete a full pass or advance to the higher level from the two top tiers. By now, you should sew your previous years' appro badges onto your overalls!
Tickets for the most craved Viikki event of Wappu will go on sale on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 12:00 PM via the Kide app, so be quick! There is a quota for forestry students, and purchasing tickets in this category requires a MYO membership in Kide. The start times are divided into a few different groups, and the event will begin by picking up your pass at Silvica's yard (Talonpojantie 25) at your designated start time or by 18:30 at the latest. Depending on your start time, there will be around four to five hours to complete the checkpoints. You can exchange your appro-pass for a performance level badge and other items at the official after-party location, C-Grundi (Talonpojantie 13), between 21:30–23:00. The doors to the after-party open at 22:00, and there you can party the night away to Verosurma`s tunes ! 🎉 The participation ticket costs 10 euros and includes the event pass, overalls badges (performance level and event badge), and entry to the after-party. Let’s kick off Wappu together properly and remember to take care of each other! 💚
